Nikola Tesla was one of the most brilliant inventors and scientists to walk on this planet. Tesla lived a humble life. There are many things that we can learn from Tesla's life. He never cared about Money. All he cared about was making this world a better place to live.
Nikola Tesla said that our mind is just a receiver. There is some source in the universe from where all the knowledge comes.
Nikola Tesla was one of the most dynamic inventors of the 20th century. He was a great futurist and a visionary. According to a family legend, Nikola Tesla was born during a fierce lightning storm on the night of July 10, 1856. The midwife declared lightning as a bad omen. She said that the child will be a child of darkness. To this, the replied, "No, he will be a child of light."
Tesla had a photographic memory. He could memorize images and books. He could even solve integrals in his mind. Tesla's greatest achievement was the use of the Alternating current. He won the so-called "war of currents" against his rival Thomas Edison.
Among other achievements, Tesla invented the first radio boat, which also served as the first robot. He called it Teleautomaton. Nikola Tesla invented everything we associate with radios.
Nikola Tesla's inventions
Nikola Tesla's inventions are the architects of the modern world. Here are some of the inventions that changed the world.
1. The Alternating Current: Though Tesla didn't invent the AC, he made it easy to use it widespread. This was Tesla's crowning achievement. The AC was very efficient.
2. The Radio: In 1895, Tesla first sent a wireless transmission from New York city to a boat at Hudson River - 40 Km away. He would have done it sooner but his lab was destroyed in a fire in 1895. Tesla invented everything we associate with the radio but an inventor named Marconi was given the actual credit. In 1943, the American Supreme Court ruled that Tesla's patent had precedence but the public already considered Marconi the inventor of the radio.
3.The Radio Boat: In an exhibition, Tesla showed off a strange invention which he called "Teleautomaton": a boat controlled by radio waves. The patent didn't issue a patent because they thought it wasn't feasible. But Tesla proved them wrong. He controlled the boat, operating the propeller and lights through radio waves.
4. The Tesla Coil: The Tesla coil is nothing but a pair of coils each having its own capacitor, which stores energy. They are connected to a spark gap which is just open air where the sparks can generate. The result is that the Tesla coil can shoot lightning bolts, and electric currents to the body and create electron winds.
5. AC Motor: Tesla spent one year in creating the motor in his mind alone. The AC created magnetic poles that reversed themselves with mechanical aid, as DC motors required. Within 2 years, he would use it in AC generators and transformers as well.
Among other achievements, Tesla invented the first radio boat, which also served as the first robot. He called it Teleautomaton. Nikola Tesla invented everything we associate with radios.
